This is my second attempt at a cobbler hammer that I made for a friend that does leather work. It weighs in at 27 oz he wanted 24 but I over shot a bit because I wanted to give him weight to dress it.

Thanks a lot it was tons of fun to make. I used a chunk of the axle from the rear end off my bronco. I had to upset it quite a bit to get the face as large as I needed and it took quite a bit of beating to flatten out the peen. I was more methodical about my hammer strokes on this one and did very minimal grinding.
