Round square hex..you name it....I was at my pops today and pulled a hex piece out and said it will make a perfect chisel. He said he thought it was "Stenner" anyone ever hear of stenner steel???? fat pete Posted November 3, 2007 Author Share Posted November 3, 2007 yea according to that sheet that steel will do real well for knives...its pretty hard steel to get the metal moving tho...definately a difference between that and mild stuff... one thing I will never need more of is steel my neighbor just dropped off a bunch of mild 1/2 sq,3/4 and 1" all cut to 24 inchs lovely it is...
