Black Frog Posted June 11, 2014 Share Posted June 11, 2014 Wondering if anyone has info on the base markings of Kohlswa anvils? I found a very nice small farrier 's anvil, it has a "B" stamped on the front of one foot and a "52" on the front of the other. I've read from others that had a B 52 stamping and they assumed it was the weight in kg since it was very close to the stamped poundage weight of 110+ pounds. Others have reported a 36 stamp I've seen. Mine is 70#, and curious to know what the 52 stamp was meaning..... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

After a good clean-up session I'm quite pleased. Started raining as I was taking pictures, those are raindrops on the nice smooth face.
