tantrum86 Posted May 21, 2013 Share Posted May 21, 2013 Here are a few photos of the cable and maple knife ive been working on lately, so far the knife is turning out very well the cable welded nicely with no inclusions! this is also the first time I have stabalized wood in house and it also is turning out well. Now the photos the first one is of the second weld series being done the second is the blade as forged the third is after etch and the fourth is the test fit for the wood and gaurd I will share some better pics when its all done. tantrum86 Posted June 4, 2013 Author Share Posted June 4, 2013 Here is the coclusion to a previous WIP on a maple and cable knife the sheath is hand stitched and tooled in house the mosaic pins are home made and the gaurd is nickel silver. The blade is 6" forged from 1" mainline from a 175 ton conventional crane that I worked with. The only thing I amwaiting on are some new stencils for the touchark.
