The shelves are 40mm laminated Oak ikea worktop, 440mm square. Total height 450mm Spiked feet as a HiFi rack should have :)
coldironkilz
Very nice! If you're not careful you could end up with a full time job as an furniture manufacturer.

Greenbeast
Yeah i've been meaning to attempt it for a while but it wasn't until i moved house and decided i need a new, smaller rack that i got the drive to actually do it. I've now decided to make a better version, but this was a good prototype.
Ironman50
Wow! It's awesome! Like the floating shelves design, wood and metal combo, looks really modern and sleek. A great display and storage area for electronic and audio equipments. Impressive work!

Greenbeast
Curious as to how this project is coming. Would love to see pictures. It's on the back burner, but i have been staring at the various parts on the smithy floor this week. I've been refurbing my house interior and now am preparing for christmas fair season! I will get back to it in the new year :)
