Loneforge Posted September 7, 2012 Share Posted September 7, 2012 Good day all, I share my shop space with a stone mason who also is quite adept at carving. This picture is of one of his sculptures. He just so happened to carve my 87lb Norrisez from a piece of sandstone which was salvaged from our old city jail here in Saint John New Brunswick Canada. Frank Turley Posted September 7, 2012 Share Posted September 7, 2012 This is my solid wooden anvil carved by the sculptor, Lonnie Edwards, of Salado, Texas. It's been mounted in the ceiling rafters of the shop for a few years. Note the dust and cobweb. I made a small, steel bracket to keep it in the 'airplane peeling off' position.
