evfreek
Like this?Marco/Krieger Armory I've got one just like it, but I did the welding myself, and the horn is ground conical. These are just great, and you can do a lot with them if you have a stake plate for your hardy tools nearby. I only have three complaints about this kind of anvil: punching on the top, hefting it into the trunk of the car, rings loudly due to the long shank. Otherwise, it has certain other advantages for moving metal, and it is unlikely to get stolen. And, the price is usually less than $1/pound , unless you are in $ilicon Valley. ThomasPowers
Yup; but I have to admit I'm the "Thomas" they mention in that anvil story and I have it's mate here in NM---save I drug it out of the woods by myself luckily I didn't know how heavy it was or I'd never had done it! (someone had junked an old forklift by driving it off the top of a spoilbank about 40 years before I found it.) Thomas
