May 4, 201214 yr Bellows depend a lot on how they are made and set up. I built a double lunged set I could pump to welding heat with my pinkie. Another smith I knew used on at a "historical site" where it was set up by someone who didn't know squat about them---he messed up his shoulder from having to HAUL down on the chain using is weight to get it to budge. Mine used heavy tarpaulin canvas I got for a couple of bucks as scrap from a company that made wind wings for drilling rigs in OKC. For a nozzle---look out for one of the '50's/'60's kitchen table legs that were tapered steel pipe---cut both ends to get the right length and right nozzle size. If you were a good scrounger you should be able to make a set for under a dollar...(cost of nails I bought at the fleamarket for a bellows I made for my Y1K set up...)
