April 27, 201214 yr Hi all, Just a quick intro after lurking around for a while. Background for me is I have been in the fabrication game for the last 16years mostly truck,car and prison industry's. Always had a passion for old gear and thought I would dable in this dying art. One of the big reasons is so i can teach my boys later on. I have built a 55 forge, found a 4inch leg vise, also a nice 80lbs Swedish anvil that has had barely any work. So yeah that's it I guess, howdy..

If you put your general location in your header us old farts won't have to rely on our memories when we're traveling and want a snack or beer. Of course there's the surprising number of blacksmiths you'll discover within visiting distance. This is very much a more the merrier craft, the more contacts the more available tool and equipment deals are and the more things you don't have to figure out yourself. Frosty The Lucky.
