April 2, 201214 yr Author Thanks! Its not finish but i will be soon ! Yes i think it will be a good anvil to start with ;) But i would like to get a bigger one!
April 2, 201214 yr Nice anvil! That is sure a lot of work. If you are going to do any heavier forging on it you may want to consider welding some extra plate steel to the narrow web to add strength and mass. Another excellent Item to make anvils from is used fork lift tines.
