Daniel.85 Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Looks good, that should work great till you find a real anvil that fits your needs. Quote
Kim Aarhus Posted April 2, 2012 Author Posted April 2, 2012 Thanks! Its not finish but i will be soon ! Yes i think it will be a good anvil to start with ;) But i would like to get a bigger one! Quote
VaughnT Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Well done! That level of craftsmanship will serve you well. Quote
Bentiron1946 Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Nice anvil! That is sure a lot of work. If you are going to do any heavier forging on it you may want to consider welding some extra plate steel to the narrow web to add strength and mass. Another excellent Item to make anvils from is used fork lift tines. Quote
Kim Aarhus Posted April 3, 2012 Author Posted April 3, 2012 Yes its to small for bigger things but as you can see on my profil picture, i normally work on a small anvil :) Quote
Roy Honcho Gregory Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Great Job. I can see by the work you've done on that rail you'll be a great Blacksmith. Congrats to you Quote
