pkrankow
You forgot to run the screw out and take a picture. However, if it doesn't sell, stand it up in the corner and don't try selling it again. Build a sweet stand when you can, even if it is a year or two from now and don't regret it. Phil

pkrankow
Hopefully Frank Turley can look at it. It looks like a nice vise. If the screw and box is in good shape, then it probably just needs grease and set up! Phil
chevelle69
I had to move and it got left outside just over the winter little rusty. Probably the first time ever left outside.
Frank Turley
I can't tell too much. It's old English or maybe New England, USA. I never saw one with lettering on the leg, as shown.
pkrankow
Thanks Frank. Being left outside is not too much of a problem, if it is lubricated. That is how these tools have been treated by many, but might not be best. Having it covered and drained is a good idea if it is going to stay outside. A bucket over the jaws and screw, or at least a board so direct rain is shed, is a good idea. Wrapping it in plastic that can't breathe will tend to collect water inside.
