easilyconfused
Not sure what it is but it sure looks like it would give a great massage :D
IronFist
I've seen something like this in a mill that I used to do contract welding in, but it may have been on a bit larger scale. It was for heat dispersal on high heat machines. Kind of like the fins on a motorcycle cylinder/ head. Other than that- couldn't tell you! Where did you find it? Rantalin
That would make sense actually. The large surface area of the steel pegs would allow for large amounts of heat transfer.
metalmaster1766
the pins are steel, only the block is aluminum i picked it up at the scrap yard, a good friend of mine owns a scrap yard, there were 2 of them, i took one and another friend took the other. i have seen these somewhere before too, i have seen similar things used to clean sharpening stones Ron Smith
anglesmith
Ron what size is it ? If it's hand size, cleaning stones or soft morta off bricks might be on the right track? Sorta looks like a coarse wire brush! Graeme
metalmaster1766
The aluminum block is 3" by 5" by 1" thick, the steel pins are 2" long, I'll find a use for it, may hurt a bit for a massage. Maybe ill stand on it, might make my feet feel better after standig all day Ron Smith
