They are made from 1 in round shaft from an old farm machine with a copper wrap around the center. The piece was then heat colored and clear coated. Quote

Forge weld the bottom. then draw out to form a stand. Thanks for posting. I have been wanting to do the blob weld Brian does, this will be a good oppurtunity. Quote
