I Forge Iron

Axe making class

Recommended Posts

Hello all , I have just finished teaching an axe making class ..... it went well. we made a total of 10.5 axe heads (nine finished axes I managed 1 and a half heads only.), most students going away with a forge welded bow tie construction axe and a punched and drifted axe , one student only came for 2 days and made a big forge welded axe. I pre drilled 1lb blocks of en9 (1050) let the bashing commence......
