Wind Chapman
There is an older gentleman down here with a 500 lb Peter Wright for sale. H said he welded up the face a bit but I can't find any seams, dings, dents, or any thing else wrong. He has it up for sale for $1,500. Is anyone else tempted by this? monstermetal
Sounds like a good deal if you need a big anvil.

ironstein
Seems like a good deal to me. After buying a new fontanini 460#, i am a believer in large anvils, such a pleasure to work on.

My big anvil is good for many things, but if I have to stretch something in a hurry, my little 90 lb is hard to beat! My main shop anvil is a 300 wt Euroanvil.
