alexhhisc Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Want to add pressure gage for my forge can i use any gage or it have to something special? Quote
eric sprado Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 There will be discussion on this, but I used good quality acetylene regulators on my propane forge for many years with no trouble. Quote
arftist Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Buy a gauge made for flammable gas from a welding supply. While hose needs to be specific for propane or ace, all flammable gas gauges are interchangable. Quote
ThomasPowers Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 And remember that what a guage says is merely a suggestion and NOT a certified value! Most of us don't calibrate our gauges on a regular basis and we do subject them to a lot of jostle! Quote
alexhhisc Posted April 8, 2011 Author Posted April 8, 2011 I did it. added in-line pressure gage and seems to work for me. I'm not going for exact measure of psi just for reference. But with 15psi regulator opened fully gage shows 15psi. Quote
