ironsmith
this grinder was made by trial and error , no plans , just some ideas in my head and some looks at a bader grinder a buddy has. took about 6 months of work, off and on, only parts bought were the wheels and bearings

pkrankow
That'll get the job done. Do you have a means to attach a table to it and a backing plate for flat grinding? Phil
ironsmith
I could at some point weld a tab on for a table , and the contact wheel is mounted on an inch and a quarter cold rolled steel bar, and can be removed to put in a platen or smaller wheel, Thats the next step for this thing when i have time! Thanks for looking...:D
Double Y
Nice build - I have been looking at the no weld plans and they seem pretty straight forward. Where did you pick up you drive and tracking wheels?
