March 7, 201115 yr Ok so I am a HUGE David Gemmel fan, and when i heard raven armory made a battle ready version of Snaga i flipped. But the price is so rediculously hight that i decided to make one instead, however i have no idea where i would get 2 square feet of 5/16" high carbon steel. Anyone have any suggestions on what kind of steel to use or where to get it?
March 7, 201115 yr wells if you lived near me you could check ACME industrial surplus, they've always got large sheets of spring steel in at hand.

August 1, 201114 yr Can you get smaller sections and have them welded together? Some plow discs are about that size and made of good steel in many cases.
