Talon Tex Overland Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Ok so I am a HUGE David Gemmel fan, and when i heard raven armory made a battle ready version of Snaga i flipped. But the price is so rediculously hight that i decided to make one instead, however i have no idea where i would get 2 square feet of 5/16" high carbon steel. Anyone have any suggestions on what kind of steel to use or where to get it? Quote
junker Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 wells if you lived near me you could check ACME industrial surplus, they've always got large sheets of spring steel in at hand. Quote
John Thompson Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Try contacting Aldo @ njsteelbaron.com If he doesn't have what you want listed give him a call. I've yet to be able to stump him with my oddball requests. John Quote
Pault17 Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Sam, I love Gemmel too!! just finished listening to Druss the legend, again. How has your work on snaga been coming? Quote
ThomasPowers Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Can you get smaller sections and have them welded together? Some plow discs are about that size and made of good steel in many cases. Quote
