November 19, 201015 yr I learnt how to forge weld cable the other day (Thanks Tristan!!). After a couple of goes with cable only, I decided to add some L6 that I was given by a knife maker we met up with. Here is the result. Jason

I was hoping he'd get to meet some of you blokes I know on the far side of the planet. He posted a bunch of Pics to the club site though I haven't gotten to take a look yet. November 21, 201015 yr :) Rawtiron showed a real natural talent for forge welding. I have precious little experience welding, but together we made really good progress.the shop time was really inspiring. It was a great visit and the hospitaliy was top notch! -Tristan

I neutralised in baking soda and water, and have only oiled it at this stage. After talking with others I may clear coat (incralac) it as I have done with other inside sculptures. It's fairly heavy so it will probably hang on the wall mostly. Jason
November 22, 201015 yr I was actually wondering about the weight of it after I posted. It will look great as a wall-hanger as well.
