February 23, 201016 yr so i finally ot to looking at my anvil instead of just using it and realized it's a 150 haybudden, so not only has it been an absolutely great anvil to me, my mentor, and his mentor, but it's also a from agreat manufacturuer so i know that as long as i take care of it i can pass it on to my apprentice when i reach curmudgeon statis lol.

February 24, 201016 yr I thought you'd reach curmudgeon status when you "sell" it to your apprentice. You know, slowly deducting amounts from their paycheck and not letting them use it until everything is paid in full! :blink:
February 24, 201016 yr Curmudgeon stage is when you promise him a Hay Budden and then let him have the broke down Vulcan for $150 and then tell him ten more years of labor needed for Hay Budden plus $5/#. Now that's being a curmudgeon.
