duerst
Hello everyone. Am looking for a flywheel press #5 nor #6, or a hydraulic press. I am in for piercing some holes in 2 inch square bar, and some regular press work. Stefan. [email protected] www.duerst.ca

ThomasPowers
Who's #5 or #6? My number 2 is several times larger than the new #6's being sold from India. Indicating that the numbering system is not standardized.
SGropp
I have a #6 imported fly press from Old World Anvils. It's a great press and I use it a lot, but I think it would be beyond it's capacity to pierce a chunk of 2" solid. Maybe with a really well dressed and lubed tool and the work really hot, it could do it, but I think it would be tough. Go for a #8 if you've got the $ and put a counterweight on it to help with the effort on the upstroke .
Richard Furrer
If you are interested in a larger "H" style fly press I have one for sale. http://www.doorcountyforgeworks.com/Videos.html bottom of the page. Simply do not need it any longer. Ric
