KYBOY Posted November 28, 2009 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Heres a cable damascus hawk we made. 1" cable (from a mine's dragline) was welded into a flat billet then wrapped and welded. A patina'd steel cap was riveted on to the top of the hawk haft. Curly maple, acid burned and stained with leather dye. We tryed Ariels tutorial on makers mark and it works very well and is very easy. So all credit goes to him on the makers mark.
