billd
Just a post to show first project, a hot cut hardy. Made up from bits and pieces I had. The blade is 2 1/2 x 1/4 O1. The rest is made up of a couple of pieces of 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 angle, some 1/2 x 1/2 mild steel and 1 1/4 square tube. All riveted together as I have no welder. Tim McCoy
Billd - I just happened across your hardy tool. Brilliant! Many of us have no welder and don't have time/funds for a welder yet. Your solution will save me and others a lot of waiting for the hardy tools we need now. Thanks for sharing! Tim

gadetoz
Nice one Bill, Here is one I made from a block splitting wedge from the local hardware store (about $5 on special) - cut and the forged the shank to fit my anvil. It is a bit tall but works for me. Trevor
