May 31, 200917 yr Gentlemen i have the chance of buying this anvil it has no weight markings only a number 8 0n the front foot and a 2 stamped in the side between the feet. it weighs 350 by a scale it has a great ring cost is $525 good or bad? here is a pic could it be english PW or american made i am still learning Thanks
May 31, 200917 yr That's a good price. If I were happy with it's condition (looks plenty good to me) and rebound I'd snap it up in a heartbeat. And that'd be pretty darned quick because finding that for that price here would have my heart going like crazy as I whipped out the checkbook. Frosty

June 1, 200917 yr It looks a lot like my (roughly) 330 lab Hay Budden. I got it at a flea market for $600 - my wife pushed me to get it - she knew I wanted it but was reluctant to spend the $$$. I love the thing, it was worth the money. I just went out & snapped a few photos:
