Gentlemen i have the chance of buying this anvil it has no weight markings only a number 8 0n the front foot and a 2 stamped in the side between the feet. it weighs 350 by a scale it has a great ring cost is $525 good or bad? here is a pic could it be english PW or american made i am still learning Thanks

gentlemen, here are pics of my anvil only shows 1 1 24 on the side with a number 9 on the front foot alot of use on this side above the weight with little on the opposite side could this not be a PW or is it ? also here is my champion forge to start me in the right direction all are flea market finds Also when i look for hammers what is important to look for in material and weight considering my anvil size and weight this is to be a retirement hobby for me down the road Thanks guys for any info giving!

i would like to know if a anvil has only the english weight indicated by having a 1 1 24 stamped into the side and only having a number 9 stamped into a front foot what is the maker or origin or date of my first anvil what english makers would have used this weight method?
