brucegodlesky
Finished up this morning. Blade come off the end of a highlayer(528) ladder pattern billet. Figured walnut handle, harvested locally with an oil finish. Copper come from a job my buddy did at Latrobe Steel, where they make BG42. Remnants from wiring up a new induction furnace I beieve he said. Flat 4" wide copper wire. Thanks for looking, bruce/birdog

brucegodlesky
Thanks guys. I'm working on a chainsaw damascus 'hawk, a whole slew of W2 bird & trouts and a cable bowie. No rest for the wicked:-)
Woodeye
Nice job - what kind of tang did you use and what are the blade dimensions? It looks to be sized to be a great all around hunter. I really like how the wood, copper and damascus colors go together.
brucegodlesky
8 7/8" overall. 4" cutting edge. Hidden tang about 3 1/4" long Glad ya like it! Thanks
Woodeye
Thanks - More knife than I thought it was though. Its so hard really judge size in a photo, at least for me. I take it you epoxied the tang, I can't see any pins.
brucegodlesky
Nossir no pins. Epoxied with Brownell's accraglass.
