  2. You could use a cutting wheel on an angle grinder to undercut your groove so that the copper will grip better instead of using a gouge and hammer.

  9. Could someone post some pictures of their favorite forging hammer? Ive got a cross pein hammer that I've tried dressing but I still leave a dimple in the iron. thanks smitty

  11. I'm thinking of giving my xxxxxxxxxx brother-in-law a knife for Christmas and I found a kit knife at the co. mentioned. Anyway I'm wondering what you all think of these kits?   13. Thanks for all of the great ideas, I need all of the help I can get. I understand about the round bar being boring but man I was proud of those leaves and figured 'man, I got this stuff, what's so hard about blacksmithing'. sigh, humbled down to a greasy spot. smitty
