The edges are super nice! The ring is loud and the rebound is almost perfect. I am going to strip it from paint and stuff and treat it with linseed oil I think. Then I will post some detailed pictures.

What is the brand of the Drill Press
AlexDegens replied to AlexDegens's topic in Drills, Post drills, Mag drills, etc
Robert Taylor, I am always looking for the biggest machines out there. Because of the look and performance. Great stuff. Nodebt, thanks for putting in the time and effort to search for the logo. I can not find anything about it, Dutch or any other country… It remains a mystery! -

For sure Steve! I will pick it up within two weeks. Just wondering about the logo. It seems to be part of the original cast. haha TWISTEDWILLOW i doubt that too. Would be very special though! I will look up the mason jars for sure. I will paint over this silver grey color with either some black or maybe some charcoal grey to make it match my shop. I bought another drill press that is mechanicaly beyond repair to make a tong rack/post vice stand/swageblock stand out of. Will post some pictures when that is done as well. Take care! -
Hi everybody, It has been a little while since I have been postin anything new. I have come across a very nice, well running drill press and i wanted to know i somebody knows the brandname on this one. The motor does not belong to the brand. I am just interested in the name of the drill press company. Here are a couple of pictures. Thanks in advance! Alex

Thanks Jobtiel1 en Jullianb, Rebound test turned out great, I would say 85/90% maybe just a little bit higher. Sounds like a bell. I found a “1” on the foot also, straight below the horn. I will make better pictures of that later. Thanks.

Thank you very much Julianb for the information. The website is great as well. Do you have any idea what it could be worth?

Hi guys, Yesterday I was so super lucky to find an August Refflinghaus Söhne anvil of 164 KG (361 lb). I am pretty stoked about it. I just have one question. In the middle of the makersmark there is a 1. Does anyone know what this means? I have spoken with a couple of people that might knew but without any succes. I hope someone knows anything about this 1 in the middle of the stamp. Thanks Alex

Thanks Jobtiel1, I contacted Joe about the anvil. I will keep you posted!

Hi Frosty, Haha I didn’t mean to let you think I was thinking that I was being ignored. It is just that I got a little bit more information from the owner and I wanted to share. No rush! Enjoy the BBQs and other activities! And yes Neil it does! I am going to contact him as well to check if he has some more info about it. Take care

Allright it seems like there is an update. The 1821 turns out to be 132 KG. Still no indication about the brand/makersmark. If anyone has any information, please let me know. Thanks!

Hello again, Back with another anvil. Does anyone recognise this makersmark (third picture). It looks like the anvil is from 1821 so the stamp says (fourth picture). I hope to get some more information. Thanks!
