  1. My 37XC weighs 25lbs and with the T5 terminator brake I can watch my impacts through the scope. With out the brake the recoil is stout!

I need to make me a metal brake for building my beaver traps.  I made a hand powered one but bending 25 1/4” round rods at once was a chore!!!!

  2. It’s david tubb’s designed cartridge.  It’s called 37XC.   It’s .375 cal single feed only with lapua mag bolt face.  It’s shoots very well, I’ve held 1moa at 1 mile for 5 shots and hit 36” target on 3rd shot at 2420 yards

  3. Swedefiddle I’ll be sure to not make a habit of it.  Just had this spring tooth hanging on the wall staring at me every day screaming to be a saber/ short sword.  I’m not a blade guy I prefer to make tools but this thing just wants to be a blade.  Hopefully I don’t screw it up too bad

  4. Personally I cut all my own meat except pork.  I just love the local butcher’s bacon and ham.   Deer, elk, bear, cougar, beaver, and grouse are what we eat the most of.  Rarely buy meat.  I’ve cooked over the forge plenty of times either charcoal or take advantage of the dragons breath

of all the meats ive ate bear, cougar, and beaver are my favorites.

  5. Parent stock has no cracks.  I think I need to do a bit more testing with this steel.  Seems more like tool steel than key stock.  Kinda reminds me of O1 though sparks are not the same.  Very close to coil spring in spark.

2/3’s done with my bbq set.  Not happy with the twist on the fork but it is one of my better forks
