Great start! That looks alot like my stand i made. I bolted it together at 1st then found little Hobart mig on craigslist for 100bucks.....handiest tool ever...stitched up forge stand with it in 15 min.Good luck.

i did something similar to this http://www.instructables.com/id/Brake-drum-blacksmithing-forge/ mounted flush on small steel table that i stack soft fire-bricks around to hold fuel and manipulate heat. careful & good luck.
