  1. Back in circa 1627-29 a Sir ( knighted ) came to the new world .  Records were kept in the log cabin courthouse at Jamestown , the courthouse burnt down so have not been able to track back further.  That's all I know except it seems we have tilled toiled farmed and tended the lands thru out time.  Dad left the farm right out of high school,  after business school managed  a propane company for 47 years.

  2. Everything has been at a halt for the past couple months.  Old trama injury to the ankle's took another turn.  After a painful long wait for surgery,. finally got some work done.  A tarsil tunnel release along with the removal of 4 bone chunks from within the Achilles tendon.  This makes it the 11th operation over the past 23 years. Number 12 on the other ankle may be in the near future.  Hobbled out to the shop today and noticed how the dust has begun to build up and cobwebs hanging around.

  3. Found a usable donor to cut up.  Will chop the back down closer to the 10" stack outlet.  Cut a side  radius out over the fire pit. Will probably have to run a strap on the back down to the lower outside table frame on the forge for support.  Will only have 9" on each side to sit on.  We will see

For sheet I liked .023" bare wire with a gas.

yeppers  I have a tandem dump to weld up cracks at the door column at the hinges then plate over with some 16 gauge tomorrow,, tested with the .030 already in the machine  was way to much wire dia. . switched over to .023 and "more gooder " results,, 70/25 gas shielding.  Remember to watch the leading edge of the burn not the back fill puddle
