  1. That's what I was wondering about - the grade of copper or leaded copper, what's used in the roofing industry. and mat'ls associated with working with it. Thanks - JK
  2. I have on a couple occasions been asked if I do and or work with leaded copper - as in roofing flashing or repairs. Do any of you work with this and have or know of a supplier I could possibly buy the materials from? Is there a special solder to use with this application? The projects are more custom things than what a normal roofing shop would get into - as in the one request was very artistic and not your normal standing seam application on a curved roof. The pieces would have to be hand formed by the way of chasing/reprouse'/ hand hammering. Any help in this area would be helpful. Thank You - Jeremy K

  7. After the taper was drawn out a flatter was used under the 150lb Fairbanks power hammer to smooth the taper, then it was hot cut for the claw.

  21. SCF - I rollform 1x1 all the time - and on a large radius like you say it will be no problem at all. I e-mailed you but you can pm me here also. - JK

  23. This is the top for the light - there will be a 12" globe inside this w/ an amber light. I have removed the top half of the round part and made it look like a flame on top.
