whoop tongs
This is a set of the whoop tongs that was a blue print by Hofi. I made them as he did in the BP for 2 inch square stock - total time involved including starting the forge, making the slitter and drift and completion without final wirebrushing and such - 3 hours
air gate controls
I'm finally getting to the decorative air gate controls on the brick forge - They will look like a blacksmiths traveler - the start of the dial as shown is 8"x8"x1/4" brass drilled holes to remove major portions and now the filing begins :-)more pics soon

this is the forge airgate control I made up for my forge to resemble a blacksmith travler (little bit more to do on it yet but it's functionable) the dial is made from 1/4" brass and the brass ball on the handle is 1-1/2" diameter
hawkeye helve

hawkeye power hammer base
the wood beam has been acuired for the base of the hawkeye helve and planed down to size and cut to lengths - ready for bolts to hold the wood together.... the hammer parts are in the process of being painted for re-assembly :-)

Old style LGs - 1911-25lb,1912-50lb, and a 1913-100lb
The 50 is all but totaly restored, re-machined top end, new parts - as good or better than new
memorial sculpture : for Erika Louis Rempe
whole sculpture is 1 inch plate with the edges of all plates upset to 1-1/2 inches wide. total weight is approx 2,300lbs. the second plate on top row from the left I hot stamped a poem into with 3/8 inch letters, Erika wrote the poem when she was age 11.
