  1. Well Done Chris , it is always a pleasure to see your work some times I think you are a Tennessean that has been transplanted on OZ as your work looks like the Native Americans that lived here in the mountains in the days gone by.

    Sam
Hi Sam you are very kind ,real good to hear my work would fit in ok there
appreciate those words very much again thank you .

  2. Save for the fact that almost *ALL* traditional historical tanto's do NOT have that tip geometry. There are a very few oddball ones like that. It was popularized by an American company that found it easier to make than doing than the more common shape and so became *the* tanto shape for folks who didn't bother to look at the hundreds to thousands of originals still around.
TOO right Thomas nothing japanese in that tanto

  3. Chris: very nice work VERY. The hammer is beautiful and the chain is like frosting on the cake. I LOVE the shield, I've done some repousse and appreciate the effort and skill in the shield. WOW indeed.

    Frosty the Lucky.
    Thank you Frosty appreciate .

  4. Bloody great work, is that just one R R spike or have you added any other steel to it. Thinking of trying my hand at axes, halberds, swords etc in the near future. Love all the old weaponry, my mum jokes about me being born in the wrong age cause of it, if I had more room and money I'd have a giant collection of stuff like that.
Hi Aden thanks for the complements , the blade is all one piece ,,yes give it a try great pass time mate .
