    like Aaron said i always clean/grind the coating off before welding! but most of the time i drill & tap it

    I pull out the old wire left in the lead(gun) then feed the new wire throw it . I reckon your mis up the liner if you don`t ! Also if you use rusty wire it takes a toll on your liner life

    Yeah cool sig. yungsmith . Well I got 3 free old style propane bottles for my gas forge:) I gotta get them exchanged for new ones but it save me around 50$ a bottle . There the small grill sized ones , 20 lbs. I think

    Ok . Wished I could but can`t go . As for the treadle I`am sorta short on space hope to build another nicer one later !

    Ok belive I`ll buy the Rusty plans and transform my treadle hammer into a rusty! a 1/2 hp , 25# will be good for me!

    Does any one know / have any plans for a power hammer besides the rusty/dust hammer? I`am going to build the rusty if i don`t find any others! I want one Cheap , Works Good. Thanks,Chris

    I`am fixing to start building either a rusty or dust type power hammer from my treadle hammer I got the motor from a washer.
