  2. I was trying to make a graceful curve in a piece of tapered pipe using a flat hammer and kept coming out flat. I have a bottom fuller that is round, was wondering if the problem is just changing to a round face hammer or do I need to make a different bottom tool to.
  3. Start with a candle cup, then fuller some sced 40 pipe, flare the top end and the set it down on round stock twice. Fuller the centre section and cut off to suit. The rings can be put in easy with a pipe cutter. The copper flowers are cold fullered pipe that is cut off and cut with quick cut disc on your grinder to form the points. They are the rolled just a tad and fullered onto the stems. The stems form the finger hole and are piened over on the back of the cup.

  7. Lincoln : Let me try to splain simple. The curved round elements part that fits into the base is first fullered or necked down. Made a smaller diamention than it already is, probably round. The hole in the base is made this small size and the backside of the base, where the tenon (round thing necked down) fits through, is peined over cold. But first the hole on the backside is countersunk. The countersink if done today would be a hole punched or drilled through the base and the countersink part would be to drill a larger hole with a larger drill bit, but just till the cutting angle of the drill bit goes through the surface. This makes a countersink or a larger hole to pien the tenon over into and leave a relatively even surface
  8. I have just recieved an ellectric rotary impact drill, but the plug end has 2 round pins, not flat. My question is what would happen if I replaced the end with a regular plug. There are next to no markings to give any clues, is it ac, or dc, 220, or 120 volts. If its 220 like I suspect would it just run slower on 120 or would something get harmed. My only clue is if someone recognizes the two pins on the plug.
  9. Just because we build a tool to make a tool doesn't mean its not available, but , we can make it better or cheaper. Spend your money wisely
