I know what a tyuere is, I was talking about the large cone thing that was standing on the floor in some of the pics. I would guess it is to make rings or something?
One of my projects is a 650 Yamaha. I have the frame stripped, the rear cut off, and am trying to figure out how to make a jig for the rear section.

Thats cool that you found out some info about your anvil.
My Kohlswa used to be in a barn on my grandfathers property. This barn used to be a ferriers shop around the turn of the century. It was set up on a stage line between two towns, and I'm sure it kept the horses happy.
Now it keeps me happy. lol

Just remember, its not only the flying debris coming off of what is worked, but the blades and discs themselves can fly too.

As soon as summer/spring comes, I will be moving my forge and stuff outside. I might even build a small shed so that I can continue work outside during the long winter months.
