I know what a tyuere is, I was talking about the large cone thing that was standing on the floor in some of the pics. I would guess it is to make rings or something?

One of my projects is a 650 Yamaha. I have the frame stripped, the rear cut off, and am trying to figure out how to make a jig for the rear section. Good luck on your bike build. Sometimes two wheels are way better than four! Jed

Thats cool that you found out some info about your anvil. My Kohlswa used to be in a barn on my grandfathers property. This barn used to be a ferriers shop around the turn of the century. It was set up on a stage line between two towns, and I'm sure it kept the horses happy. Now it keeps me happy. lol

These are good sound words. Just remember, its not only the flying debris coming off of what is worked, but the blades and discs themselves can fly too.

Been there done that. That drill the doctor uses really freaked me out. Made me wish I could close my eye without closing my eye, thats for sure.

Thanks for the tip. As soon as summer/spring comes, I will be moving my forge and stuff outside. I might even build a small shed so that I can continue work outside during the long winter months.
