I have a chance for a hand crank buffalo forge. At this point I have no idea on model or condition. Any idea what I should expect to pay?

    50-150 bucks. In the states usually its 75-100 bucks. Up here in Canada these are scarce so i would easely pay 150-200 bucks for a good one.

    I paid 100 for my Canedy Otto forge (36x 24 ) With the original blower. If that helps you any.

    Cheapest I have seen was US$0; most expensive was US$1500 (for a large "RR forge" in MINT unused condition with all the bells and whistles including a hand crank down draft system to vent exhaust under the floor.)

    So somewhere in between those based on size, equipment and condition.
