tech413
Welcome to the site. If you are just starting out, I would suggest that you go to the front page of the site and read the lessons in metal working. There is a ton of info there. Good to have you aboard. Jaxx
Hello every one, I to am new to Knifesmithing. I have enjoyed reading this forum and have learned a lot. I do need an Anvil if anyone has one for sale. Thanks Eddie Herrington 601-720-3966 toll free wow jacked thread lol. anyways my grandfather made camp bowies and other style hunters. he lived out in the sticks in mississippi al of his life. but he got to meet some of the best makers out there. i wish i was a little older so i could have learned from him. anyways one of my real inspirations for kick starting this is stephan fowler. he has helped my family out quite a bit and he is really my inspiration along with my grandfather. hes a great guy and makes amazing knives. Frosty
Welcome aboard Sean, good to have ya. Do you have any of your grandfather's tools? Those alone would be a serious jump start into the craft. There's plenty of expertise to draw from here all you need to do is start asking questions.
