Frosty Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Yes. Welco 32 if I recall correctly. Lots of porosity though if water/air tight is an issue. Talk to the guys at the welding supply about what's what now and follow the directions on the rod. Practice first of course. Good luck. Frosty Quote
petersenj20 Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Never used stick because I think it requires DC reverse polarity. Not stick welding but there are several products on the market that work well for brazing cast aluminum. They generally have a melting point around 900 Quote
