December 25, 200817 yr i got this new anvil for x-mas and i am wondering whay kind it is, i dought its an vulcan because i have one and this one has no markinf on it anywhere....

December 26, 200817 yr it almoast has to be a vulcan mabe one produced for sears or wards with out a mark
December 26, 200817 yr looking at the picture of the base, I would guess cast iron but with possibly a tool steel plate on the face. It should still work mighty fine for you!
