Pault17
My wife recently showed me a poem written by my three year-old daughter, Gianna. When My wife asked G, as I regularly call her, to describe the word Hot, she said: Hot Hot is Fire, Hot is a Hot Dog Hot is Metal Pretty cool I thought. and it makes me wonder how long it would take to roast a hot dog in my gasser just after it had been turned off. Frosty
That's great Paul, I'd frame it and hang it over the forge, in the office, etc. Hot dogs are okay but I prefer prawns. A quick dip in soft seasoned butter and a quick poke into a hot forge for a few seconds. The shell burning off and the bug turning red says, "Eat me!" Once the forge drops below mid orange it doesn't work as well though. Mmmmmmm. Oh yeah, the blacksmith's wienie roaster is a length of pipe that fits all the way through the forge. Heat the center to red or better, take it out tip it at an angle and slide the wienie through. Frosty Frosty
ironrosefarms
Excellent poem Frosty, I had to look up what a prawn was... but if you cook it I'll give it a try... I'll have to try the wiener cooker... If nothing else just for the reaction of my kids...
