MeltedSocks Posted November 25, 2025 Posted November 25, 2025 Big forge blower, Corvette, big watch. They all point to a certain inadequacy. Quote

There’s likely a joke in there somewhere. is the blower too big, or is your forge perhaps too small? I am imagining one of those “world’s biggest x” attractions, but in this instance it’s a coal forge. I went to see the world’s biggest teapot once. I was underwhelmed, to say the least…. Quote
Frosty Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 If that blower supplied forges there would be a lot of them plumbed into the ducting. It's probably for industrial air transfer, say pressurizing a large chamber to prevent contamination when doors were opened. Say the paint room of an automotive shop. I think I'd like to hook it up to a hydraulic motor, connect it to the snow plow frame on the pickup and see about clearing show a few hundred feet into the woods. It'd sure make break up less muddy.
