Look up what "ductile iron" is and what kind of rebound you'll likely to get from a light weight, soft anvil. If that's okay with you then the price isn't terrible but It'd be a hard pass from me UNLESS I had a specific use for one, say historical reenactment or similar and then I'd look for something more period correct.

Having googled “Townsends stake anvil” to see the product in question, I’m given the most pause by the words “They are light duty and made for demonstration purposes.” Major red flag. 

If you want a real stake anvil, take a look at the ones from Holland Anvil. They’re more expensive ($500 for the 42 pounder and $900 for the 92), but they’re hardened and tempered H13 steel and extremely well made.
