My name is Jeff, but I usually go by JT in the different groups I belong to. It seems there are a LOT of Jeffs around. I am, of course, new here and to the hobby/lifestyle. I don't even know enough to ask intelligent questions. So, I'll sit back and lurk for a while as I learn my way around. I have built everything from hotrods to hovercraft, but I haven't been around a forge since my Great Grandfather passed away in 1968 (I was 3). I think it's about time to change all that. If your Great Grandfather was a blacksmith, ask some of the older folks in your family if there were any tools of his that survived.
