It must be a mountain thing. I always keep a couple of 3 packs of wooden matches around. I'm going solar as we speak, heat with wood, have propane backup, and am in the process of making my spring usable. 

  Don't ever move to the city or the suburbs Anvil.  It ain't good!

I could never live in a city again. Too many I don't like it so you can't do it types.

Thanks for the warning,,, I could never do that. Where I live is about 300 miles from the nearest interstate no matter what direction you take.  Almost good enough.
