Anyone have any info to share as far as a review of either grinder/buffer? I need a 2 x 72, but don't have the $ for the high end belt grinders out there.

Take a look at the Pheer grinders!  I have one and really like it.  There are some pretty good DIY kits available now if you can’t swing for something like the Pheer.  You can order the critical parts on Amazon or eBay!  I’d probably make my own now, but when I bought my Pheer I didn’t know enough to tackle that.

I have a grizzly and am quite happy with it. Sure there are better grinders with better features, but it was a bargain and most of my grinding is for toolmaking and not blades.
